2024 Idea Accelerator Off and Running

Twenty plus students hit up Uber HQ in SF for a week forging teams, forming networks and finalizing ideas they'll work on for the next few months in MESA's Idea Accelerator. Part entreprenuership primer, part pitch competition, this crew came together from community college and university campuses across California to compete for cash prizes and the chance to pitch their business ideas to industry professionals. They're solving problems in their communities using the human-centered engineering design approach. After the week at Uber learning everything from market research to prototype design, the teams will continue their work until it's time to present in October.
